FabLab is the educational outreach component of MIT’s Center for Bits and Atoms (CBA), an extension of its research into digital fabrication and computation. FabLab Seoul is a space for technical prototyping that provides the public with access to 3D printers, laser cutters, and other machines used in the digital fabrication process. In addition, FabLab Seoul has opened a BioLab under the Tide Institute. Fab Lab's civic project partnership with Minerva Schools at KGI gives undergraduate students an opportunity to take on a Maker project during their four-month semester in Seoul.
